CSA 304 - Biomedical Sciences

This course introduces the student to various biomedical sciences topics that effect the surgical patient. The course discusses surgical site infection prevention, the effect of blood and fluid loss on a patient’s homeostasis and how to reverse those effects. The course also highlights anesthesia and the medication used during surgery.
