Simulation Program Management Certificate (MHPE)

The MHPE Simulation Program Management Certificate is jointly administered by the School of Health Professions and the Sentara Center for Simulation and Immersive Learning (SCSIL). We designed this certificate for healthcare professionals who are interested in enhancing their simulation education knowledge and skills.

This certificate provides medical and health professionals new skills to build increased competence in simulation. It supplies learners with skills in designing and delivering effective simulated learning experiences, a better understanding of simulation technology, and a better understanding of the business of simulation. This program can be useful if you:

  • Are working in or preparing to work at a healthcare simulation center focused on learners who are undergraduate students, graduate students, and practitioners
  • Are seeking ways to broaden your knowledge of the business of simulation
  • Wish to improve your healthcare simulation knowledge and skills

Admission

This program maintains an admission process unique to the program. Prospective students are encouraged to review the admission  requirements in order to best prepare themselves for a successful future at EVMS.
