ERM 405 - Honors Ultrasound in Emergency Medicine The purpose of this course is to teach the fundamentals of emergency ultrasound, both didactic knowledge and bedside image acquisition, longitudinally over the fourth year of medical school for selected students pursuing a career in Emergency Medicine. During the year, M4 students will have the opportunity to work with Emergency Medicine physicians proficient in emergency ultrasound at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. The student will become proficient in the core applications of bedside ultrasound in Emergency Medicine. The M4 student will also serve as an education resource to assist in teaching their underclassmen.
